Setup BOM Raw Material Types

Setup BOM Raw Material Types : Follow the under mentioned steps :-

Select the Setup BOM Raw Material Types from Setup menu as shown in figure.

This form is used to define the BOM raw materials.

•	How To Define Raw Materials : Follow the under mentioned steps :-

1. Enter the material name and press enter.Material name must be unique.

2. Click the Save button or press Alt+S in order to save the record.

3. Click Close or press Alt+C in order to exit from the window.

•	How To Define Order : There are two ways to set the order of the materials : User Defined order and Default order. In order to set the orders of the materials follow the under mentioned steps :-

A). Steps To Set User Defined Order : -

1.	Click the Order button or press Alt+O.

2.	Set RM Type Order window appears.

3.	Select the material name and click Up or Down button to set the order of the materials according to the requirements.

4.	Click the Save button or press Alt+S to save the defined order.

5.	Click Cancel button or press Alt+C to exit from the window.

B). Steps To Set Default Order : -

1.	Click the Order button or press Alt+O.

2.	Set RM Type Order window appears.

3.	Click the Restore Default Order button or press Alt+R.

4.	Click Save button or press Alt+S to save the order.

•	How To Delete The Raw Material : Follow the steps to delete a record :-

1.	Select the raw material which you want to delete.

2.	Click on Delete option.

3.	Delete Confirmation window appears.

4.	Click Yes in order to delete the selected record.

5.	Click Save button or press Alt+S in order to save the changes.
