Through this menu, you may make entries for the following vouchers:
Sale Challan (Delivery Note): Sales Challan is an agreement to sell the goods in which property/ownership of the goods is not passed to the buyer till an Invoice is prepared. The customer has only the possession of the goods but he is not the owner of the goods. Sale Challan does not create any impact on accounts but it affects Inventory. Creation of Sale Challan results in deduction of stock.
Sale Invoice: On sale of Items, the seller submits an Invoice for the Items sold. Sale Invoice affects both Inventory and Accounts. The stock of Items received get decreased. The Customer account is debited by net amount of the Sale Invoice. Sale Account is credited by value of Items sold (net of Discount). Respective ledgers of other accounts (like Taxes) are credited accordingly.
Sale Return: Sometimes, unaccepted Items are returned by customer. Normally customer comes with the items to return and entering those item in Sale Return constitutes the Credit Note. The Credit Note in respect of Items returned affects both Inventory and Accounts. The stock of Items returned get increased.
Issue Register: This voucher type is used for recording goods issued to the customer.
